I always feel so happy when I find videos on introversion, especially if the speaker is actually an introvert themselves 🙂
Meet adorable Charlie (a.k.a charlieissocoolllike), one of the most popular and subscribed YouTubers of the UK, well known for his random-style vlogs, challenge attempts and being part of Time Lord Rock (T-rock) band Chameleon Circuit.
In some of his videos, he generally describes himself as quiet, awkward and weird. His weird (and often funny) personality is often reflected in his many YouTube videos… possibly why I like watching them 🙂
The video, below, is his latest video to date, in which he describes himself as a fellow introvert and what to expect if you ever get to meet him.
It really is a perfect example of proving wrong the perception of “Introverts do not like to talk.” Intoverts DO like to talk but only if we actually have something to say or if it’s about something of interest – we don’t do so well with trivial topics.
If you like this video, do take time out to check out his other stuff. If you’re a Doctor Who fan, if you like random and quirky, or if you just want to watch someone who, despite being a completely successful vlogger, seems like a very grounded and nice guy.
On the side, I read a few of the video comments, and saw some people were asking what they would be classed as if they were a little bit of both introvert and extrovert (perhaps 50/50 or are able to switch between the two). So to clear that up, those people would be classed as an “ambivert” – and probably get the best of both worlds 🙂 (thanks Susan Cain!).
