Catching Up With Some Drawing

The exam season is over and I have a lot of spare time on hands! One day, I decided to catch up with some drawing. My art skills are not the best in the world, but that’s never really something I thought about. I enjoy drawing, therefore, I will draw. 🙂

As a child, I would spend a lot of time doodling and drawing in notepads and the corners of newspapers. I loved art lessons where we were free to draw whatever we wanted. And even through university, I had a “doodle page” at the back of my note-taking paper pad where I would draw whilst waiting for a lecture to start.

This year has been so busy, I haven’t been drawing as much as before. So one unoccupied day, I took out a sheet of paper and began to draw. At some point, I would grab another and continue drawing. Then I’d get another. Before I knew it, I’d spent a good couple of hours just drawing and re-drawing. I’d forgotten how absorbed I could get with it all 🙂

About Lily

Lily is the blogger's name of an overimaginative, positivity-powered, and potentially awkward introvert girl who likes to think she's "quirky" (though it's very possible that she's just plain weird!) She loves music, musical theatre, art & comics, inspirational stories, languages, expressive people and anything that is a little eccentric.
