I read this wonderful little article yesterday about How To Wake Up Inspired.
If you’re looking for ways to inspire yourself then I really do recommend having a read of this article – it has some very creative ideas to bring inspiration to you!
My particular favourites, in summary, are:
- Eat inspiration for breakfast (that is, wake up and read/watch something you find inspirational or a work by a person who inspires you – what a great way to start off the day!).
- Reflect on your reasons (we all have reasons as to why we want to achieve something – I like how the author specifically writes “emotional” reasons – sometimes a reminder of them is all the inspiration we need).
- Surround yourself with inspiring people (because can’t inspiration be contagious?)
- Create space (as in making space in your mind for inspiration to come to by stepping back for a moment and perhaps go for a walk!)
I found this article, funnily enough, by googling “how to be inspired” (I know, I know…). Inspiration comes to me in bursts (and not always geared towards the same goal). But we can’t deny it’s a great feeling to feel inspired and I wondered if there was a way to feel like that most/nearly all of the time.
My favourite ways to become inspired is taking a walk outside, observing and listening to the outdoors, taking a look at other people’s inspirational work and (of course!) taking a visit to daydream land.
Again, I believe this is a great article for everyone to read so please do! In fact, just reading it is enough to stir up some inspirational energy!
