Drawing is Therapeutic

Drawing is Therapeutic

I drew this (a panel for Dragon Hearted Girl) when… well, I didn’t have the best start to the day . However, I planned to draw a new page that day and thought perhaps it could lift my spirits in the progress.

Coincidentally, the character in this panel needed to have that disappointed, downtrodden sort of feeling too. Although completely unintentional, I think I somehow used my emotion and transferred it onto paper – because the end result turned out better than expected!

(And on top of that, this whole episode cheered me up plenty. :))

I know there’s still plenty room for improvement but I’ve been struggling with eye expressions, so this is a bit of a breakthrough for me!

Here’s to further improvement and progress!!

About Lily

Lily is the blogger's name of an overimaginative, positivity-powered, and potentially awkward introvert girl who likes to think she's "quirky" (though it's very possible that she's just plain weird!) She loves music, musical theatre, art & comics, inspirational stories, languages, expressive people and anything that is a little eccentric.
