Chandelier by Sia (Live)

Quick post today 🙂 I wanted to share this heart-wrenchingly beautiful performance of Chandelier by Sia which I’m currently obsessed with.

Sia’s singing holds so much soul and heartbreak. The way her voice “breaks” but with so much control is what makes her one of my favourites.

I also love the lyrics. I love how the original pop version has a catchy beat which masks the secretly (or maybe not so secret) melancholy meaning of the song. And here in the live version, you can hear the sadness behind the words.

On top of that, I love the performers she chooses to perform next to her. The emotion in this mime’s face and sign language is incredible.

In conclusion, I think I’m just a little obssessed with Sia’s live performances. She always has a unique and artistic choice of dancer to perform next to her.

That’s probably enough of my over-enthusiasm today 🙂 Please enjoy the song and video!
